Litigation Support Manager

Our client, a leading national law firm, is looking for a Litigation Support Manager to manage large document intensive litigation projects for attorneys and paralegals at the firm. This position will be responsible for running complex and large electronic discovery projects and working with firm paralegals and attorneys.

Ideal candidates for this position will have a four year degree, with a minimum of five years of litigation support project management. Law firm experience and a JD are preferred. Candidates should have knowledge of the litigation process from initial filing through trial.

Additional qualifications needed:

* At least 5 years of litigation software experience, including: Relativity, West Case Notebook, CaseMap, Concordance, and other widely used e-discovery applications.
* Experience managing large discovery projects.
* Be team oriented.
* Possess Six Sigma experience.
* RCA (Relativity Certified Admin).
* CEDS (Certified E-Discovery Specialist).

Responsibilities and primary activities for this position will include:

* Managing project timeliness and monitoring negotiated schedules and budgets when necessary, including the preparation of estimates, schedules, and regular status reports for assigned cases.

* Developing litigation support service budget estimates, writing Requests for Proposals to vendors, analyzing vendor proposal responses, and making recommendations to case teams.

* Coordinating the set-up and maintenance of in-house processing and review projects including technical data management activities.

* Providing operation briefings to managers, e-discovery counsel, and the director.

* Develop technology solutions for litigation discovery projects.

* Work with attorneys and paralegals to ensure client expectations are met and exceeded.

* Serve as a point of contact for case teams regarding database design, document review, processes, electronic discovery, legal related software and hardware needs, case management tools, trial support.

* Build, configure, and maintain litigation databases.

* Manage and coordinate projects for internal resources including: drafting project plans, work orders, processing instructions and specifications.

* Schedule and coordinate projects including preparing and evaluating project specific requests for proposals and preparing statement of work.
