COALSP will be hosting our annual Open Membership Luncheon on Thursday, June 14th, 2018 at 12:00 PM at Faegre Baker Daniels.  This event is open to the public and offers an opportunity for non-members to learn more about the association and the benefits of membership!  Members – please join us to catch up with colleagues!

Michael Swarz, Dylan Denso and Karenna Soto from Veritone will be presenting.  Are your discovery techniques keeping up with advances in technology? Audio and video electronically stored information (ESI) presents an increasing challenge to Litigation Support professionals.  Learn how to prepare for litigation, or regulatory investigations, that involves electronic evidence – especially audio, video, and files requiring translation – and to properly communicate your eDiscovery concerns. Michael Swarz of Veritone will impart practical strategies, review risk management protocols, and best practices for conducting eDiscovery with audio and video files by covering applicable case law, state and federal regulations and the process itself. The presentation will include a discussion on Artificial Intelligence for Litigation Support professionals led by Veritone’s Karenna Soto and Dylan Denso that will present important technological considerations and options.

Michael Swarz currently serves as Veritone Legal’s Product Marketing Manager. He has a deep understanding of the legal technology world with broad expertise in marketing; industry research and analysis; business development; media relations and events; and programming. Michael has been published extensively on the topics of electronic discovery, information governance, digital evidence, and legal technology. He is also a frequent speaker, having presented on eDiscovery before numerous legal, IT, records, and compliance audiences. Michael is a graduate of both Brandeis University and the New England School of Law in Boston.

Dylan Denso is a Channel Account Manager for the Veritone Legal & Compliance team.  He oversees a large group of Veritone partners ensuring they have success utilizing Veritone’s AI technology. Dylan also takes on a business development role strategizing and implementing customized workflows for new end clients, primarily in the compliance space.  He is well versed and passionate about legal technology.

Karenna Soto is a Channel Account Manager for the Veritone Legal & Compliance team.  Karenna is inspired to educate and assist legal eDiscovery and Compliance professionals with their challenges with unstructured data using Veritone’s AI solutions.
